What I did on my summer vacation: Part I

Jul 19, 2004 00:43

I should just be a realist and know that I'm not going to update often. Anyway, for those of you who care about what I am doing for my summer, here's a quick update.

-- Working. This week I finally get trained to earn the money they pay me. Fun.
-- Missing Michele. She came to visit for a few days, which was very fun, but too short. Hopefully she'll be able to come down again before the end of the summer, but I don't know. She did get to go to the Kickball Midseason Party though. That was a fun evening.
-- Playing kickball, of course. Kickball is as shady as ever, and in fact, possibly shadier this season. Yesterday we had a Flipcup Tournament. Fun stuff.
-- Getting ready for my dad moving. Daddy's moving to Las Vegas, so I'm going to drive out with him at the end of the month. We're both a little scared because we're driving through the heartland and whatnot. I'm most frightened about Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas. Also, if you want a free place to stay in Vegas, my dad has agreed that my friends can stay at his house out there, but they have to pay my airfare. It's a good deal if you think about it.
-- Hanging out with people. I actually haven't been doing much of this, because I'm lame. Suneetha and I go to the movies. Jesse comes over sometimes. Mark is back now, so I've been trying to see him. Other than that, I don't do exciting things. And for anyone who likes the "Donna Status" update, I am as single as ever. Go ahead and laugh. Then feel free to remove my foot from your ass, because guys are idiots. Complete idiots. Complete passive aggressive idiots.

I can't really think of much else that I've done thus far. Maybe when I do my next update, which will obviously not be for a while, I'll have something more exciting to add.
