Yet another sweet day. Carly and I went to lunch so that was tasty. I saw Philly whup up on da ATL for a little while before Alex and I went to Irving to shoot around a little. I haven't totally lost my shot, but I have a long way to go to get back to peak form that's for sure. I then decided to play 3 straight 5-on-5 games. Well, that was a mistake. I am badly out of shape, I forgot how to shoot a put back shot, and I never have been good at pick up games. I am much more effective when I a) know the people that I'm playing with and 2) have a structured offense. Oh well, I gotta start getting in shape for playing for the FIJI intramural team. Came back in time to see Philly win. Meh, didn't really care about that game. I was all about the Steelers-Pats game...errrrr...blowout. It was disappointing to see so many people rooting for Pukesburgh, but some people (read: Grasso, Ryan, Zahn, Brittany) had the sense enough to cheer for the team that wasn't Cleveland's biggest rival. I was actually asked "How, as a Browns fan, can you cheer for the Patriots? They are ugly and cocky and you should be cheering for the underdog." Now, I figured that as a Browns fan, I would cheer against their biggest rival. And as far as rooting for the underdog, The Stillers were 16-1, on a 15 game winning streak, playing a team they beat in the regular season, and playing at home. Yet the Pats were favorites? I don't care what the Vegas line said. The Pats won, I was happy, many people were pissed at me (Read: TW, BT, JF, SO, and then Ryan for some reason). Good times.
After chilling in the hallway with Shingles man, Laura, Katie, Megan, and Alex, Brittney came over and had the pleasure of watching an epic duel between Alex and me in ping pong which finished 2-2 in the series. W the F is this? Soccer? Who ties? Oh well, Alex, Britt, and me all went up to Alex's room and talked for a while. Well, we kinda had a civilized convo while Alex gambled away his life savings in real money online. But it was fun nonetheless. I came back to my room, and nothing could have prepared me for what I saw. I had awaiting for me, and I SO wish that I was exaggerating, are you ready for this? 95 IMs FROM LEAH!!!!! 95 PEOPLE! Unreal. If anyone needs a transcript of the Sunday Night Sex Show with Sue, I can give it to you. Easily the most stunning thing that I have seen in a while especially after she called and told me that she had left "around 60" for me. Yeah, she was 30 off.
Lastly, I have decided after one semester to change my major from Actuarial Science to Business Administration. I realized that if I was having trouble with the second week of Calc 2 HW and I would have to take 13 more math courses after this, things would only go downhill from there. So Alex is a BA major, and Abby is in the business school as well so I got to talk to them about stuff. I think I'm making the right decision. Time will tell. Mama Fay and Papa Mike were cool with it too so that is excellent. I figured they'd be pissed since I came to BSU solely for their kickass AS program only to drop it a semester in. But they supported me 110%! Aight, it's 3:15 AM. Bed time yo. I'm gonna make like a banana and leave.
