Another day, another 24 hours of near boredom, although today was better. I went to Applebee's with Ryan and Tara. The waitress there tried to work a big tip out of us by asking how we got out of school so early. Eric (that's me) had to sheepishly reply that we were in college. She noted that she also went to college in Indiana. I was confused how she knew I was from an Indy school, then noticed my Ball State shirt I was wearing. Ahhhh...a perceptive one I see. It worked, I tipped her good (not sexual). Let's see...came home, played some PS2, then heard the following from my mom upstairs in the kitchen: "OH GOD!" I get upstairs and it looks like a freaking Slayer concert. Smoke is just pouring out of the oven. Note to jackasses who package frozen shrimp with garlic sauce: Don't just tell people to place the food on a microwavable plate. Specify that the plate HAVE SIDES SO IT DOESN'T OVERFLOW AND BURN DOWN OUR FREAKING LOG HOME! Anyway, it tasted good. After dinner I called Adam to watch the game. My convo with Arthur Philipp (father of Adam in case you didn't know):
(Eric dials phone, phone rings)
Art- "Central Heating."
Eric (cracking up)- "Uhh...haha...is Adam there?"
Art- "Adam who? Oh, Adam. Hold on one second."
(Click)
(Dial tone. Apparently Art hung up on me.)
Good ol' Art. Still not the highlight quote of the night though. That would go to Ryan.
"That was the weirdest, no wait, THIRD weirdest position we've ever been in." - Ryan speaking to Bron. I'll let your mind wander on that one.
USC kicked ass. It's 55-19 as I'm writing this. Waste of time to watch that debacle. Oh well, I went 18-10 for 28 bowls as a result in my pool. Hopefully that nets me a little bit o' cash. Aight, I'm out yo.
P.S. Can I just say that I have two of the most awesome people in the world in my life in Brittney and Leah? They are 2 of many, but just talking to them tonight has really made me appreciate how lucky I really am. OK, carry on.
