summertime
yay, summer's here. the time of the year when i don't do anything at home but eat 1/2 a meal a day (today that was mostly cheese-sticks and yogurt) and watcha butt load of movies. speaking of which, i have seen some great ones in the past few days:
~~Man on Fire ---- awesome, denzel is amazing
~~The Manchurian Candidate ---- DZ scores again, a little twisted but i love that guy.
~~The Bourne Supremacy ---- wonderfully done, matt damon is just as good as he was in the first one.
~~Lemony Snicket's: Series of Unfortunate Events ---- read the books a long time ago, this was totally different, but i did like the paper animation stuff at the beginning and end...and Jim Carrey was amazing, as usual
~~In Good Company ---- a feel good movie, "real genuine humor" as the box says.
~~50 First Dates ---- i loved it, one of Adam Sandler's best.
~~Mystic River ---- freaky, but really good. recomonded by my mother and step-dad.
other than being a lazy-ass, i got some stuff done -- shopping. yes i said shopping, i went with my mom to get stuff. ok, ok, it was clothes. mostly stuff for camp...alright i had fun. i got some cool new stuff and possible the awesomest pair of corduroy pants i have ever seen.
in other news, i am getting confirmed tomorrow. i am excited for it. and guess what...i am the president of my class if you can believe it, voted into office and everything (beat you there Paige). and i'm pooped/out.
