My month of awesome weekends starts today.

This weekend-- College friends are coming to visit. Ryan/Bear/Bocian/Jamie/her sister will be here after I wake up. And it's supposed to be like 80 degrees. And I hope to hit up happy hour for the first time since my 10-hour Mcgrady's marathon last Friday I had off back in the fall. Last time they were down, I had a party at my place, but this time I get to take them out on the town of the C'ville, so that's cool. Woohoo!

Next weekend-- Party at my place. I'm due since there hasn't been a party here since Halloween. There's a slight chance of high school friends coming to visit, so that's even better. I doubt it'll happen, but who knows, we'll see. If Jeremy came to visit, I'd shit myself out of shock. And then be the happiest person ever.

Weekend after next weekend-- Foxfield. It's a pretty big deal here in Charlottesville. So I figure I should check it out before I leave the area. From what I gather, everybody just dresses up (girls in sun dresses, and guys in shorts and pink shirts) and drinks their faces off. And apparently there are horse races too, but I don't think anybody pays attention to them.

Next weekend after next weekend-- NASCAR race at Richmond. Hopefully it's not rainy/windy/cold this year. Once again, drinking will be prominent (see a pattern here?). Some people bust on going to Nascar, but c'mon... it's not just for the cars going around in circles. It's a big tailgate party. You go, set up shop, start grilling, crack open some beers and enjoy the atmosphere. Then you get nice and buzzed and when you finally head up to the track, the loud cars and the smell of burning rubber are all that more awesome. And what other event can you go to while carrying a case of beer?

Theeeen, it's a few weekends of rest before Dewey.

And I'll add in last weekend and make it 5 straight weekends of awesomness-- Went up to Fairfax and hung out with Tim (who's getting married this weekend) and Sam. Played some pool, went bowling and played video games. Good times.

And now... bed and stuff..
