The ChoiceBy the editors of The New Yorker
This beautifully written, highly evocative piece by the New Yorker is an absolute must-read for anyone who is able to vote this year. It is more than a great read, it is a densely packed (yet very easy to read) piece full of important history on both Obama and McCain, detailing with unprecedented elegance the flaws and merits of each candidate.
Simply as a piece of English prose, I would recommend anyone and everyone to read this. But the case it makes is so compelling that I strongly urge all of you to read it with an open mind and to consider all of the points made along the way.
I ask you to do this for the sake of this country, for the sake of the people living here and for the sake of the future of our entire human race.
