Ottomas/Traveller: Week Seven

Jan 28, 2014 06:21

A busy week in the reconsituted Ottomas-Traveller household.

Of course, the first major change of the week was the divorce of Peter and Samantha. The marriage had not been without problems for quite some time and trying to make their problems go away by having more children failed, especially given Peter's inability to stay faithful. As Sam moved in with her soon-to-be new husband, Trisha and Tyrone, who carried the Traveller name, but was Peter's son, moved into the Ottomas home, which saw major renovation now that it no longer had to support an ever-increasing brood.

Pete didn't want to get married again, however, which suited Trish fine, as both were contend to remain friends with benefits who continued to carry on other relationships as well, both sharing Abishag (who by the end of the week was pregnant with another of Pete's bastards), while Peter had Tabitha (also blessed with his spawn) and Trish carried on with Julien Cooke.

In addition to all the bed-hopping, Pete continued to work at the paper. He remained a sports reporter, winning numerous awards for his coverage. Trish remained a sous chef, a good enough technician to work in fine restaurants, but lacking that special something that would allow her to advance or run her own restaurant.

Meanwhile, half-brothers Dakota and Tyrone were raised together and became best of friends. Smart boys, they understood what had happened to their parents and why. They saw how different men and women would come over and spent "special time" with their parents too. They didn't like it. Didn't like it at all.
