J. Sanchez: Week Five
With the boys away at school, it was a quiet week for Dr. and Gen. Jabez and Amelia Sanchez.
Jabez continued to work as a Specialist at SimCity General. Having already reached the top of the science field, he had more than enough money and career accolades. At this point in his life, he just enjoyed helping patients and was content working for a living.
Amelia still reigned at the SCIA. She specialized in the SimStan region, which limited her role in the ongoing crisis on Twikkii Island, but was nonetheless a critical part of the SimNation military industrial complex. She had thought about retiring, now that she was older and really didn't need the continued stress, but couldn't imagine how she'd fill her hours at home.
Before the week ended, Jabez decided that he'd do something special for his favorite cousin. Adelheid had long expressed an interest in opening a robotics and electronics store along the commercial strip, but she needed initial capital. Jabez had tons of money and offered to give her what she needed. Although Amelia had nothing like the relationship with Adelheid that Jabez did, she agreed with the spirit and so the couple gave Adelheid the seed money for her new store. They made clear it was a gift and that they didn't expect any repayment from her. Her tears of happiness were all the payment they needed.
