Hiro Update
So Hiro is home and doing extremely well. He had a bit of a sensitive stomach when he came in, but now he is eating (and other things) well. He has already met the neighbors and their dog. It's remarkable how friendly and accepting he is of strangers and other animals. He has already figured out how to get out of his playpen, so I just leave the door open and give him free range of the bedroom. He doesn't seem that interested in chewing on my possessions yet, but that will probably change soon, so I'll figure out how to store things.
The most amazing thing is that he had no accidents the entire time I was at work today. As soon as I came home, he pooped (and not in the right place), but he waited until I got home. He never soils his play area.
Other fun things: he seems to finally have warmed to all of his toys (though not any of the dog treats I've tried). He seems to like the old sweatshirt I put in his playpen. He finally managed to use his wee-pad tonight, which is really impressive. He loves to watch tv, and I will leave that on for him during the day.
