Self-challenge
So, I am online all the time. At least once a day, normally, to check things. So I figure, as long as I have time, I can manage one worthless post a day.
No, you don't always have to read them, since it probably won't happen anyways. I just realized that I still like my LJ more than facebook and the others. I mean, not as many people use this anymore, but at least it still works the same, and I don't get 20 million invites to add junk to my page from people who don't even bother to message me once a year.
Anyways, I asked for a lot of books this x-mas... and I got them ALL!!! OMG! However, they have now been added to my collection of, I wanted them, I have them, but I have no time to read them! Add to, I am double majoring with English... which means "shit ton of worthless, I don't want to, readings" to fill up the rest of my college life.
Good news, I should be able to graduate in Spring 2009, like I should be! YAY! I may even be able to fit in a semester in Japan, if I can just bring up my damn grades and stop being such a bum!!! Needless to say, my GPA is down again. Nice thing about transferring schools, your GPA starts over. Bad thing... I don't usually take art and p.e. in my first semester. Meaning, I got B-, C+, C, C+... Gpa now 2.285... officially the lowest overall, but not the lowest... that was a 2.0. However, you need around a 3.0 to go to Japan... not that that will keep me from applying, but the way I see it, they probably won't accept me for fall, but I have this semester and summer to bring my GPA up, and maybe next spring will show some luck! Let's keep hope!
As far as my new job goes, it's not too bad. yesterday was rather fun. Though I was there straight from 9am-5pm... I didn't take break, because I didn't want to go home for an hour just to go back for another four. I could have gone later... but really I don't like to stop once I start working. The people were also amusing. Within a few hours, I had a slave for the day. Don't ask me why. I asked him to finish the box of books before opening another, he asked if I was now his boss, I said yes, he said "Alright! I will do whatever you tell me to for the next hour!" ...WTS? Whatever, he kinda did, and I asked him favors the rest of the day. It was fun.
Other than this Sat, Sun, and next Tues, when they are closed, I will be working 7-9 hours every day until the 7th when classes start... then we will work out a new schedule for the next two weeks, and then another for the rest of the semester! Yay! Someday Erin will have money again!
I also still need to finish my x-mas presents for people.... oops.
