Being back at home, not eating UC food all the time, and watching a ridiculous amount of The Biggest Loser has quite inspired me to start watching my weight again. I don't think I really realized how horrifically I was eating while at school. Quiznos, ice cream, M&Ms, bagels whenever I wanted. And I really got very little exercise this year. The fact that I had to hike all over campus to get to classes was probably the reason I didn't gain five bajillion pounds. In any case, I'm home, I'm calorie counting, I'm trying to stay away from fattening foods, and I'm running 3-4 miles several days a week. I've started doing a bit of weight training again too.
I'm actually really enjoying being more active, and I haven't been restricting my eating as religiously as I have in the past. Hopefully I'll have good results. My current goal is to be down to 125 by the time I go back to school.
