(no subject)
I'm busy busy with work, so this is just a quick post to say that I GOT TATTOOED!!
This is actually my second tattoo, and I LOVE it. The experience was so good, and really, the pain was minimal. I was more fascinated by the process and the feeling than anything. The tatoo dude was completely professional and very nice. He engaged my geek side by explaining how the gun works and all that.
It barely bled and now most of the swelling and redness have already gone away, so I'm anticipating a nice, easy healing process. Unlike my piercings, which have been a bitch overall
So here are some pics
Here it is. That's my forearm BTW. You know how hard it is to take pictures of your own forearm? I got a really cool neuron done in gorgeous greens and yellow. When it's all healed, it should look like it's fluorescent and glowing, just like the cells that I look at for real. I'm such a geek
This is a close up of the cell body and dendrites. He did some outlining in white which is really going to accentuate the "glowing" effect created by the colouring
And here's one of me sneaking in there, to give you an idea of what it looks like on
I will definitely be going back to Rob in the future. I have several more tattoos that I'd like, and I was just struck by his committment to quality and cleanliness (especially cleanliness!)
