It's been so long since I've posted here, that it seems much has changed.
Anyway....
Sometimes it's just nice to hear that something you've said has made a difference. It's just a good feeling - all warm and fuzzy.
I found a new job, so being laid off in march doesn't seem quite so threatening. It seems that everything usually happens for a reason and apparently this happened so that I could make more money and get better benefits. I can't complain.
Branden has changed his job schedule again, which leaves me with the entire evening to occupy myself. This time is usually spent at a coffeeshop doing pointless surveys, reading emails, and generally wasting time instead of doing work on websites and catching up with stuff at work.
Last weekend was the first of my concerts with the choir I'm a member of. They went pretty well. I will admit though that it's just not as fun without Branden. Or perhaps it's just harder - who's going to meet people for me?
In an effort to have me added to his insurance, we've registered with the state as domestic partners. Not that we hadn't already discussed being in a long-term relationship, but the insurance was definitely a motivator. I guess though since it's the closest to being married in the eyes of the state that we can get, it seems a bit backwards....not to have plans for a ceremony yet....
