floofy is what i call roger reynolds... hes THE name in the department... its cuz his hair is floofy... he is very not tho... hes... more ... facist... hes not the department head... but the department always does what roger wants anyway..

hes that guy i really pissed off a couple of months ago... when he lied to me... and then i told him to go fuck himself... in a rather public email... hes a bastard...

and phillip (manoury) is a big shot composer from france... who... even tho is a perfectly nice man ... if you wanna sit around and drink wine and smoke cigars all day... but not so great for the department... hes not bad.. hes just... a road block... and i think he cares less about the undergrads than roger

anyway theres not so much gossip in that... as venting... i didnt acctually expect anyone to read it... and in the event anyone does... they dont know these people so ehh...

and i dont get the rachmaninov thing either... i spose there is a melancholy undertow to rachmaninov's music.... but... honestly its just more.. majestic... than sad...
its music that is perfectly crafted to, at any cost, envoke emotions with in you... which inevitably is its flaw...

*sad* I wish the guy's actual name were Floofy. Though few people actually deserve being stuck with such an awful name, it sounds like he does.

Thanks for the interpretation of Rachmaninov... I should try listening to some of it soon, since I think I need some majestic listening.
