So many shows - so little time & money

I am having a hard time focusing on work today. Partly due to a three week stretch of craziness/little sleep and partly due to a very sore ballet body. Thank goodness no drop-in on Fridays otherwise I would be in trouble.

So in an attempt to push off actual work here is the many shows that I would love to go to. Hopefully I'll find a way to make it to at least two or three of them!

Tonight! Thanks to Mihoko for spoiling me with cheap tickets.
Band of Horses & The Village Green

July 29th
Silversun Pickups at Capitol Hill Block Party
*I've been listening to these guys a whole lot the past few months. Nothing super striking about them but still a good fun listen.

August 12th
Devotchka at Neumo's
*AHHH! I will do everything in my power to go to this show! Finally a new unique sound & their live stuff is amazing. Even though they are becoming a little mainstream for my cool factor this is still a new band I could get behind.

September 2nd - September 4th
Bumbershoot goodness *I'm still on the fence about Bumbershoot this year. I have such a hard time paying for something that I used to get for free. Big crowds + long lines + mediocre sound = one very tired Julia

September 8th
The Dandy Warhols/Brian Jonestown Massacre at Showbox
*Okay so certifiably crazy but that's part of the draw. DiG!

October 15th
Sufjan Stevens at Paramount
*Hmmmm... Someone worth the awful high Paramount prices. I'll eat Top Ramon for a month then I can go & it will still be worth it.
