Girlfriend Time Was Awesome.
angstchic and I had a fabulous time visiting rikki_oko. We went, we saw, we shopped. ;) It was all kinds of great. rikki_oko was such a dear, carting us all over to do fun things, taking us to fabulous restaurants for our meals, and showing us her beautiful, and spotless house. We also got see her Hubby, and managed to meet her adorable children, so cute and sweet! We also enjoyed just hanging out together, sharing music, photos, and girl talk. You can't beat that kind of stuff.
As usual, saying bye was tough - and then we had re-routing flight drama, but in the end we got home safe and sound. The only downside? I started getting sick the day before we left, and by the flight home I was feeling pretty lousy. Let's just say that cabin pressure and sinus congestion do not mix.
I have photos, that I promise I'll share in another locked post. Am now taking it easy, and trying to get better. Even so...all the fun we had was well worth it. :)
