I figured I'd post my grades for the Fall, since they were just posted today.
Biology II: A (90%)
Biology II Lab: A (99%)
US History II: B (88%)
Pre-Calc: C (75%)
Physics I: C (no fucking idea)
Physics I Lab: C (no fucking idea)
(for physics, lab and lecture were setup
to share the same grades; it was supposedly
easier to do that since sometimes we did
two hour labs and sometimes we did two hour
lectures)
Yeah, whatever. There's no way my physics grade is that low; I had a 78% after midterm, and I've gotten nothing but A's on every assignment afterward. So unless I bombed the final, which I really don't think I did, there's no way I got a C. I'm probably going to end up trying to appeal it, but we'll have to see. I guess it's a good thing I didn't throw away my folder just yet. Ugh, I thought I was done with Tifton.
I'm not even going to bitch about the Pre-Calc grade since I probably deserved an F. Who didn't do homework until a after midterm because they didn't realize how heavily it counted? Me.
I wish Wright could've bumped History up to an A, but it's all good. I raped myself on the first quiz (second guessing for the win!), and thought the second test was going to be a week later than it was, so I'm quite content with an 88%. I'm still sort of amazed I got a 98% on the third test (post-WWI all the way up until the end of WWII) without studying more than a couple of hours total. I know I fucked up several dates on the final, too (beginnings of Cold War, plus Korean War). Anyway, I'm happy.
Perhaps I should see about retaking Physics next semester if there's an opening for it at VSU. I think they'd average together, and if I can pull an A out of it that'll get me a B. Which is so much better. But some people say that they just take the grade of your last attempt. I guess it's on a per school basis. I'm going to ask the advisor dude at orientation and see what he thinks, regardless of the fact that I'm not going to be staying at VSU (hopefully).
