I think Sanzo would make a twitchy, easily annoyed cat. Our older cat is like that, whereas our younger is very laid-back and is mostly 'meh' about things. And I see Sanzo as a poufy, angry Persian cat, don't you? *giggles*
Sanzo was surprisingly easy to keep IC throughout this fic, which made me happy. And, I was trying to play on the fact that they were connected and that he felt the same way...he just denied it. XDD
And the whole Goku with slit pupils was supposed to be a testament to Seiten Taisei, in all honesty. The lightning and chaos were supposed to further the image. I'm just glad that the spells I came up with weren't cheesy sounding. I was going for poetic, as I find the spells in Loveless often are.
Goku is adorable. Of this we are sure. *giggle*
The names were what gave me the most problem, honestly. I toyed with a couple different ones, but 'Thoughtless' and 'Heartless' won out. I was going to go the cheap route and use Loveless for Sanzo and Goku, but my Muse smacked me and said, "HELLS NO YOU WON'T! BE ORIGINAL!" So...hence the names. *giggle*
The ending came out of nowhere. But, I felt it was appropriate to end it there, even though the story was trying to continue on its merry little way. And yes...it will always be Goku who took Sanzo's ears, not the other way around. And you know he secretly really likes getting pwned by Goku!
