I wasn't drafted this time, so if you've still got need of someone to watch the kitten, I wouldn't mind doing that.

[Ah, good, someone he actually knows and can at least remotely trust.]

I do indeed still have need. It would be greatly appreciated since I definitely don't want her suffering because of the Malnosso's whims.

[Really, it is seeming with all the pets in Luceti, someone should consider starting a kennel or pet-sitting service.]

I understand. If Crookshanks were still here, I'd feel the same way. Would like me to drop by sometime to meet her? The draft is soon, isn't it?

[ if she didn't have a million other things to do... ]

[And throwing up a filter since he doesn't want where he lives being broadcast to all.]

Yes, it is soon. They sure didn't give much notice to be sure everything is taken care of. I live in community building number 3 in room #17.

And my kitten's name is Cecilia.

[ understandable. ]

That's a very pretty name.

Then, if you have nothing else planned, I could come over to meet her.

That is fine. I am merely getting all my things ready for the draft right now.

[And he's also trying not to accidentally pack his kitten who keeps on getting into his things. She's definitely a little bundle of mischief.]

[ she turns up a few minutes later, knocking gently on the door. ]

[And he will answer it pretty quickly, opening the door with kitten in hand since she has a tendency to try and run outside when it is opened. She's happily trying to play with the odd pendant Leonhardt is always wearing.]

[ the kitten gets a smile. ] She's very adorable. I think she fits the name. [ clearly will need to keep an eye on this one. ]

[Yes, definitely will. Cecilia is a little troublemaker, though utterly adorable.]

She does, all too well. She's named for a princess who lived many years ago in my world. [And considering said princess was a very strong and adventurous sort, yeah, way too fitting of a name.]

But for now, come on in. I should show you where everything is kept and let you get to know her a bit. She's very friendly. [Unlike her owner, though he's obviously acting far softer around the kitten than he does with people.]

A princess who was much like she is now, I would assume. [ she offers the kitten a hand to smell. ]

All right. I had a cat back at home named Crookshanks. [ he was... much more of a handful than she's expecting cecilia to be. ]

A very strong spirit and as adventurous as she could be in her position.

[Cecilia takes a curious sniff at the strange hand. And Leonhardt goes ahead and pushes the door shut with his foot. Doors being shut with this kitten is a good idea.] I should warn that Cecilia is a very curious little kitten and will find any open door, though that seems to be a very typical trait for a kitten. I imagine your cat was much the same?

[But he'll go ahead and lead over to where her food bowl is first. And it should be noted that outside of random cat toys scattered around the floor, the apartment is pretty neat and tidy, though very sparsely decorated. Really, outside of the toys for the kitten he hasn't bothered much with adding personal touches.]

[ she takes note of the door being shut. curious kitten, eh. ] Yes, he was, though he was a little different from most cats.

[ she follows, taking note of where everything is and how things should be taken care of, etc. ]

[And then he'll show where the rest of the stuff is. Really, he's neat enough that none of it is too hard to find and from the locations of things, it's obvious he's also attempted to ensure kitten doesn't go tearing apart bags of food and they are stored on higher shelves.] They each do have their own interesting habits, yet we put up with it for the joy they bring to our lives. It is very similar to raising a child when you think about it.

But that about covers everything. Outside of her tendency to be everywhere and underfoot, she's pretty easy to care for.
