A few questions for all of you:
Has anyone ever experienced an effect of a kidnapping actually get worse over time rather than better? Or does anyone know of a good way to deal with rather strange recurring nightmares?
[He probably should add asking about how long these effects usually last,

...Recurring nightmares, huh. That sounds awfully familiar... and not in a good way. Not at all. Despite this, however, he won't respond to the actual entry - rather, later in the evening, Leonhardt can expect to hear someone knocking on the door to his apartment.]

But when he hears a knock on the door, he'll answer pretty quickly and Joshua will be able to see Leonhardt and he's holding onto his kitten. He definitely looks a bit on the tired side since he hasn't been sleeping well for nearly a week now.
His smile looks somewhat forced, but he is trying to smile, and heck, that's way better than his normal self.] Good evening, Joshua. Come on in.
[And he'll open the door wider so Joshua can come in if he wants.]

Leonhardt might notice that Joshua actually brought something with him today - even if it's just a simple small bag.]
Good evening, Loewe. [And before saying anything more than that, he'll actually enter the apartment. No need to stay outside if Leonhardt's inviting him in, after all.]
I hope I'm not bothering you. [He didn't exactly mention that he'd be coming over in advance. Sure, most people don't really do much at this hour, but... still.]

You are no bother. Is everything all right?
[Nope, totally doesn't suspect Joshua hacked his entry.]
Reply
Yes. [Actually, not really, considering he's a bit worried at the moment, but he's not about to admit that.]
Actually, there's something I wanted to give you. [A sort of "thank you" gift for inviting him over for dinner so often lately, you could say.
...Of course, that's not quite all there is to it, but that is part of the motivation behind his decision to stop by for a visit today, at least.]
Reply
Oh? There wasn't any need to give me anything, but I'm sure I'll appreciate whatever it is.

You can call it a thank you gift, if you want. You've been cooking for both of us a lot lately, after all. [And he definitely appreciates that, even if he's trying to avoid stating the real reason for that. Getting to spend time with someone who's like a brother to him after five years of either not remembering him or being on... rather awkward terms with him is kind of nice.
With that said, he'll quit petting Cecilia for a moment to take something out of his bag - a box of passion flower tea, which he'll hold out to Leonhardt.]
Here. I thought you might like this. [They do both like tea... and with what he mentioned in that filtered entry of his earlier today, this particular type might just help a bit. Maybe not much, but it's worth a try, isn't it?]
Reply
But he'll take the gift because he doesn't want Joshua to suspect he's being paranoid or that there's anything wrong.] Thank you, the thought is appreciated. Is this a favorite of yours then?
[And yes, at this point anything is worth a try. If what was said earlier about these effects lasting upwards of a month, well he wasn't going to be in good shape if this kept up that long.]
Reply
Yes. It's pretty tasty, and it's relaxing, too. [He's actually not too fond of the taste on its own, but the effect's nice when having trouble sleeping, which does happen kind of frequently for him.]
Reply
That sounds like it could be helpful.
Reply
...okay, so maybe that would probably be a little bit strange. But still.]
It can be. [It's not the best possible option there is, but it's better than relying on stronger sedatives. But with that said, he pauses, looking at Leonhardt momentarily before continuing to speak.]
...You haven't been sleeping well, right, Loewe? You look a little tired. [The fact that he's fairly sure he knows why remains unsaid. No need to mention that he hacked that post of his.]
Reply
But he's not going to bring that up, it's obvious all he was going to get on that subject had been stated already.]
Is it truly that obvious just looking at me?
Reply
...Yeah, it is. [No point in claiming it isn't. One look really is enough to tell he hasn't been getting enough sleep. Even someone not quite as observant as Joshua would probably notice that, he suspects.]
Reply
I merely have been having a bit of trouble falling asleep. Nothing to worry about and should go away in time.
[Yeah, and that's quite a bit of a lie, though not totally false. He can fall asleep find, it's just that he wakes up a few hours later and has trouble falling back asleep after seeing some horrible nightmare with Karin dying in his arms.]
Reply
Considering what he saw Leonhardt ask about earlier today, Joshua doesn't quite believe his words. But he can't exactly say that if he doesn't want him to know that he hacked that entry, so he'll refrain from doing so.]
It might, but it depends on why you have trouble falling asleep. [If it's just something like the change in weather lately, then it shouldn't take long to go away. But it's fairly likely that this isn't caused by that, and if the cause is what he suspects... it might not go away for a while.]
Reply
It's probably just the change in weather. It does snow more here, after all.
[And again, a bit of a lie, though the colder weather is likely not helping matters really so it's not totally off the mark.]
