So the semester has JUST started and it's already managed to crush me. In just two weeks the school has managed to throw more information at us than they did during the entire first 1/2 of the first semester. That, coupled with the fact that I am now, again, away from Jon (which I VERY much don't want to be), and now the wedding plans have started to unfold a little bit and I'm not there to help deal with them, and I haven't had the time to start working out, and this and that... well let's just say I haven't been doing so well since I got back. I haven't been able to concentrate nor study as much as I need to which just compounds the problem. So a few breakdowns later (being now) I've decided to change some things around, as far as how my days go and what I do when. Besides other things, I've started to take a Yoga class, which, so far, seems like a really good idea. Also, I remembered what Katie used to do to get through tougher times... to keep up or generate a positive outlook, every day she made a list of 10 good things about it. So I've decided I'm going to try that...
So here's 10 good things (or 10 things that have made me happy/made me smile) today... in no particular order.
1. My wonderful fiance who shows me every day more love, respect and support than I could ever imagine
2. A crystal clear blue sky for majority of the day
3. A HUGE raibow over the school after the rain
4. Waking up on time to get to school by 9
5. Eggplant vegetarian chili I made for dinner :)
6. Yoga class
7. Not getting food poisoning at the Shacks (cause I actually brought my own lunch)
8. Getting 9 hours of studying
9. The thought of getting a package from home sometime this week (Lord willing)
10. Being told "Wow, you've got STYLE" by the bus driver lol
