Mr.Butch is Dead.
He lived homeless in Kenmore square/Allston for about 30 years.
It all feels so dreamlike to think that such an icon and local legend is now gone from Allston.
Everyday I would see him on the corner of Harvard and Comm ave. Always doing something. Whether it was playing air guitar, yelling rhymes, dancing in the streets or directing traffic. It always made my day better to know that he was still around.
We lost him early yesterday morning in a scooter accident.
