(no subject)
the weekend was very good. the weather was great. i don't know if i can recap the whole thing. but at one point or another (and in no particular order):
i sat in the sun - a few times
i ate - a lot
kim, jim, jedi, george, gail, matthew and steven came over for a bbq
kim had a great 3 month check up with the doctor and saw the baby move
i watched how to lose a guy in 10 days on tv
i decided to add matthew mcconaughey to my list of favorite men (it's a short list)
i went to visit patti's mom and dad in NH and got two good hugs
i bought a few things - nothing major
i went to a bbq and liz and daves and we all walked up to the lake for impressive fireworks
i woke up early and went for a morning run (which i enjoyed)
ran with liz in the middle of a hot hot day
that's all i got off the top of my head. i just showered and im in between some clean sheets. i have this great body balm by benefit (what's up alliteration) and i'd like to use it but would really enjoy it more if i had a boy to wear it for. it smells good. it's 10 and i wanted to read before bed but the game is almost over and i'll probably end up reading one page and falling asleep. busy day at work today and i expect tomorrow to be the same. it's fine with me, really, because im ready for the weekend. hopefully meaghan's party on friday and we're having a bbq on saturday for my mom's bday. we got her and neil a gift certificate to a nice hotel in ny, so hopefully they'll finally make some plans to get there. laurie and i might be going to dc at the end of this month, which is pretty exciting. i really want to go to the holocaust museum.
