Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. It's my only absolute MUST HAVE, I wouldn't bother putting on makeup without it.

Well, I have really, REALLY sensitive skin, but it's also very dry. It's one of very few products that doesn't irritate my skin. However, I've never heard of any skin type having an issue with it. It came highly recommended to me from a woman with combination/mostly oily skin.

Moreover, it comes in several different types - the green kind for color correction I rarely use, it's got a slightly more powdery finish, that might be good for oily skin. There's a type for skin-firming and anti aging, there's a "light" version, and the regular version. I use the regular. It feels silky and slick while you're applying it, and dries completely just leaving my skin feeling really soft and smooth.

Totally agree with this comment, the Smashbox primer is awesome. I have rather oily combination skin, and the MA at Sephora recommended the "light" version to me, which has a slightly less powdery finish than the green color corrector but finishes a bit lighter than the regular stuff.

Further, I'm an air force officer-in-training and can put this primer on under my makeup at three in the morning, get up, carry out my daily orders and such, and come home at ten at night with minimal touch-ups to my makeup, which is pretty splendid.

I really like the colors from L'oreal HIP. I don't know much about other brands but since we're on the topic... What are the best eyeshadows to get from mac?

It depends on your own taste and skin tone really.

I'm wondering that too... I know electra is a great color I can't get enough of it, but I don't know of any others that are like that.
