Maiko/geisha makeup trial
As per request of canistrotter I looked up some Maiko/Geisha makeup tutorials and pictures and decided to give it a try.
I don't have any white face paint, so I just ended up putting on a lot of powder foundation (I'm pale enough I think hehe).
I used L'Oreal hip duo eyeshadows for the green and gold and pink, and then a bit of MAC sushi flower over the first pink and for my blush; also used MK coal eyeshadow in my brows and crystalline for highlight, and MK liquid liner.
By the way this was much bolder in person.
And I totally wore my kimono-esque dress to tie it together hehe.
So what do you think? I know the liner was a bit sloppy, and so were my lips, and the pink at the corner of my eyes shoulda been darker, but next time will be better ;)
