Applying black shadow

So I've been trying to use black/other darker colors more often in my crease for definition, like you guys have suggested before. I'm getting the hang of the colors that are NOT black, but I'm noticing that I can blend/smudge black better when I apply with my fingers than with a brush. Anyone else have this problem? Anything I could be doing

What brush do you use? And what eyeshadow? :)
It could just be the shadow that's hard to blend.
When I use black in my crease I only get a tiny bit on my brush, apply and blend that out and then I add more.
I find it easier to blend a little at a time rather than applying it all and then starting to blend :)

Agreed! Totally! A little bit at a time. And I use the Sonia Kashuk 03 brush for my crease, a good big flat one.
