i don't like fish

a few months ago i went on a major shopping spree at mac and spent almost $200 on it. but i pretty much came out with a few items haha its funny how money adds up
anyways, i asked the girl if she can show me some shades that will look good with my skintone.
let me tell you, i suck at what looks good on me until i see it on myself. hence i love benefit because they always love putting make up on me but at mac, i find they don't do it at all and if you ask, they'll show it to you on a card. even when they're not busy!

but this one girl was super sweet and she asked me what other colours i had and she showed me a look with sushi flower. the colour looked pretty and she taught me how to apply it and she let me do one eye. then i come home i try the look and for the life of me, i can't do sushi flower! then i recently went on the site and found out its matte. matte and i don't do well together. i find matte very hard for me to wear because its too blah! i knew my hatred for fish would come and haunt me but i never knew it'd be in a form of an eyeshadow!
can someone please help me figure out what i can do with this???
