the woman who desperately needs a nap
Griffin didn't sleep at all lastnight so I was more than ready to put him down for his nap today. I start giving him his lunch when the smoke detector (located RIGHT next to his room) starts beeping. No problem, I've got an extra battery. Insert it then go about lunch again. Still beeping. F this, I take the whole damn detector off the wall and put it in our room. SOMEHOW INSIDE THE WALL IS STILL BEEPING. Thank God Griff went to sleep pretty fast but everytime the damn thing beeps (which is every four minutes) I hold my breath and wait for him to wake up. So much for me being able to nap as well.
In better news I'm stoked about all the finales tonight. Well, except for Greys. I only watch that show now so I can hate on it. They ruined my two favorite characters (Izzy and George) and have me enjoying the one I orginally started out disliking (Alex) Thanks Shonda.
I went to Target this morning and had to restrain myself from buying the whole store. I seriously put back 4 different things. I couldn't pass up this bathing suit though, seersucker ftw! Um, this is the third swimsuit I've bought from Target in the past two months. I also got this dress which is perfect for church and a wedding I'm invited to next month. I've been a shopping fiend lately, I don't know what that's about. Why does Target have to be so awesome? And why is it that everytime I find things I can't live without it's when we're low on funds?!
