Squishing you/Some art

Thank you so much, my friends, for thinking of me. You simply are amazing. Though I haven’t been around since months, you’ve sent me virtual gifts and brightened up my days. It feels so good you haven’t forgotten about me! I’m missing you!!! Badly!
To tell the truth, I’m simply not able to cope with the situation I’m in since months. And I’m the one to be blamed, of course. It WAS heroic to take in eight bunnies plus a degu, but I’d never imagined how time consuming this would be. It’s not the time for feeding or tidying and so on alone, it’s the caring itself what’s so exhausting. There’s constant worry about if they are safe (there are martens about) and happy. Sounds silly, I know, but that’s the way it is. I’ve read a lot about bunnies and their behaviour and needs, maybe too much. *g* Now it’s like an obsession to offer them a life appropriate to the species.
So I’m spending every spare moment with my 11 pets (plus hubby, *wink*); it’s fun, makes me happy, but takes in all of my energy. There’s no power left to paint. Oh, yeah, I DID paint, but - argh!!! To build a special bunny room in the barn I needed money and I… yes, I took in extra jobs. I’m sure, each one of you writers or painters will understand how ‘strange’ it is to be creative on demand. If you are used to do it just for fun, it’s hell! For weeks I painted a bathroom wall with an underwater motive, and I’m supposed to do some pics of Star Trek. I can manage all that, all right, but I can’t help it, it feels like selling my soul. *sighs* Since then, there’s no feeling left to do a loving pic, a real pic.
Tonight I decided it’s about time to do something just for fun again, and it turned out to be difficult - no HP-scene popped into my mind.
In the end I got influenced by the sound of stags. Since a week it’s mating time around here, and it’s unbelievable how tireless those stags are calling for their would be mates. They are definitely shouting the whole night through, and some hours during the day. Well, I imagined a doe making fun to her friend about such idiotic, senseless male behaviour.
