HP-Art: Boys of Summer: Summer Holidays - Thunderstorm? What Thunderstorm?
weasleywench made my day today, though unknown to herself… *squishes her*
If she hadn’t sent me such a cheerful E-mail, I would have drawn a very depressive pic tonight, I’m sure. But, as it is - here’s to romance!
I thought I’ve had enough of our “Boys of Summer”, challenged by hd_fanart, on the well-known lonesome beach. *g*. It turned out there was just one more motive I didn’t try before: An upcoming storm on the beach and - rain.

As I only use my beloved soft pastels and nothing else, there are two versions of the scene, one with rain, the other without.
This was the first time I really had to gulp hard before continuing. With soft pastels, there is no redo-function, so I knew the “rain” could damage the “pretty thing” I drew so far, once and for all. If I messed it up, it would be permanent, and the pic would be a matter for the bin.
But as I wanted to try rain since months, I called myself many profane names and kicked myself, hard.
So, I hope you’ll like the two versions!
