the moments of gratitude and love.

Him: I told her "thank you."
Me: Sometimes it is the strangest moments we reflect on those instances of gratitude.
Me: i guess it's because we gather enough life experiences to understand what we were searching for, or who we were before and why we came to be here (at this moment).
Me: it's hard to be thankful all the time though. If that were the case, i feel like there would be no world war-- if we could be thankful for our own happiness, instead of regret and resent what we don't have.
Me: then again, that would cause us all to be hippies, and we would not move forward at all, and just be self-satisfying all the time.

Sometimes it's just good to tell the ones you love, "thank you." :) And if you're not ready, I think that enough time and life experience will give you the inspiration to look back and smile at all there was, and understand why there wasn't. I strongly believe that the bad, as much as the good, is necessary for life. I think the moments you overcome hardships, or the moment the pieces of the hardships fall together in an epiphany are well worth all the struggles. <3

thank you. <3
