Ugh. Monkey Khan. Yes. You're lovely. White comic artists finally managed to draw on 'Journey to the West' without fucking it all up. Now, please, leave the comic. Monkeys are awful and creepy. Also that Khan x Sally thing...;-; so not okay. Does anyone even ship that? I feel like he's only in the picture so the editors at Archie can slap him with Sal, Sonic with Mina, and Knux with Julie-su (which i'm fine with. Julie-su kicks ass).
on that note, other than the obvious aesthetic appeal, what do Mina and Sonic have in common? They run fast? As much as she's improved over the last few issues, Mina is still too much of a wish fulfillment Mary Sue for my taste.
She made a good point this issue though, about Sally not acting the way a ruler should. With editors and writers changing so much it's hard to stick to one characterization, so Sal ends up looking like some unmediated bipolar person.
