"One Helluva Race!"
Oh gawd...
Well at least I Did manage something in that time. I graduated trade school. I've done a few things in my field of choice. Though nothing earthshattering or exciting... Just, you know, digging. Which is basicly what I'd be doing when I got an actual job in the field. If... IF I get a job in the field. Good old depression... If it can't kick you in the groin one way, it'll do so some other way. Meh whatever.
Wanna know something stupid? I went and did that "What is your Gaian StarSign?" thing... And damn if it isn't scarily close to accurate on a lot of points.
In some ways more so than my Actual starsign.
Don't get me wrong... I Love being a Gemini. I just hate the bad press for them. I'm generally Not that flakey, I'm Not that irresponsible or likely to leave you holding the check.
But keep in mind, I wasn't actually Meant to be born May 29th.
I was Really Reeeeeally late. As in a couple Months late. sharon swore I was either a horse or an elephant child. She carried me for 11 months! Yeah, '73 was a Great time for a gal to be in the Navy. >< ;
They kept telling her she wasn't 'fat' she was healthy. And gee, she just kept getting "healthier" and "healthier" over time. And since, like I used to be, she was irregular, nobody thought to give her a pregnancy test. Heh. So I was my mother's little 'social disease' for a lot longer than most.
So let's see... Two months back from May 29th... So the end of March? An Aries. No no no... I would not have done well with that. I'm prone to migs anyway so all that head butting is Out. Not to mention fire scares the hell out of me... The next one is Taurus... ARGH! No No No! Yes in the Chinese Zodiac I'm Ox, but that does Not mean I would have appreciated being the "2 ox wagon". X|
Ok, Cancer then maybe? Well, I Am the water element in Chinese elementals but that's a different thing altogether. No offense but water signs in Western Astrology, with a few exceptional people tend to be a little, well, wishywashy.
*plunks down stubbornly* Nope, I made the right choice. I waited until the sign suited my momentum forward. Gems are fast little suckers. Yes we Do tend to fry a few circuits here and there and maybe fry them a bit faster than other signs, but on the whole, I would rather run than walk... Better yet...
FLY! I am an Air sign after all. I can ride the wind. So yeah... Time may fly faster than I can catch it, but ya gotta admit... It's One Helluva Race! ^_6
