howdy?
so its been more than a while. What a surprise..... i made it to college. im enrolled at the a&m branch in galveston. way to go sea aggs? its been about a month since i moved. can honestly say that just going with it, makes things a hell of a lot easier. its weird, i know that im ecstatic that i could leave behind the valley and most that came with it, but at the same time, old shit pops up in my head at the weirdest times. way to go alexa, right? i dont yet have a job up here, but i also dont yet have a car either. ill be bringing that up after christmas. itll be a long 7 hour drive :). thank god for music...and my cars awesome gas mileage. i miss spencer a crap load. it feels weird going to sleep and not having the fat little oven next to me. my stuffed animals cant give off heat so its not the same at all. my roomies name is amanda. i think we get along really well. theres just a mutual understanding between us that not many other people can beat. we also have two suite mates by the names of jennifer and betsy. we are all pretty different, but most of the time laughter doesnt depend on our differences. being up here doesnt feel any different from me working 70 hour weeks in the summer. i guess i already got used to being away from home a long time ago. either way, im meeting the good and the bad....its nice cause the good heavily outway the bad. the culture is way different, and i like it. but i admit that i miss my moms cooking. i left her a gift of a cookbook with italian recipes in it. i told her she need to practice and make me the ones she liked the most. i think she cried when she found it. she had just gotten back from dropping me off at school after all. meep. a heads up to those i havent spoken to in a long time, my cell number is 956-358-7056. give me a call if youd like. if i dont answer, its cause im in class, and i stopped taking my cell with me to class. either way, i have class at 11, so im gonna do homework. me....studious??? who wouldve thought <3 out
