And yet another thing
Papaw update:
They discovered that he has a CRUSHED disc in his lower back.
Further, during a urinalysis (?sp) they said that he should be below a 4 and he's at a 6 so they are having a urologist come out to check him out to make sure there is no cancer.
For crijimminisakes people! He's 97 and still has his mind! Will any of you ever see that age and if you do will you have YOUR mind?
SUPPOSEDLY he will come home tomorrow. Mom should know by 8 a.m. I will probably find out at 10 or so and I work tomorrow.
I need to call the Lifeline people. I have talked to this guy two days in a row now and since I didn't know when they would release my Papaw, I couldn't set an appointment to meet up with him.
Sighs.
I just hope that the social services lady at the hospital can talk him into all of the perks - since his insurance should cover it 100%. She told me that he has the best kick ass insurance she's seen. Well, he got his coverage in 1972 - that is BEFORE all of these reforms, etc., that were made. So they have to honor the original. Ha Ha Ha (see me skipping merrily along my happy way)
