turn of the screw
things have been so crazy over here the last few days. the stalker thing has somewhat blown over so i thought until she calls again at 3:29 AM! i tried to locate the daughter but she is in the middle of moving and she must be listed under her husband's last name. so i am still not quite sure what to do at this time except another visit. she has stopped calling my other jobs though! - i think b/c julie (i know she actually did something nice) was really rude to her on the phone and again L sorry about that but you have to admitt at least she was trying to help me for once :)
i am very sad tonight though. one of my clents the sweet little 101 year old is back in the ER. she was found on the kitchen floor a couple of days ago. thank God that no bones were broken but her face is all black and purple and swollen to at least twice normal size. she spilt her head open when she fell as well. i went to see her today against my mom's wishes. (in hindsight i understand why she was hesistant on me going to see her) i thought i was in the wrong room for a few moments. i barely recognized her she was soo swollen and so black and purple. i almost started crying when i saw her but i couldn't let her see that.
i massaged her feet and that made her recognize me. i kissed her little forhead where there were no bandages and told her htat i loved her and woudl visit her again later. i made sure she drank some more water. she has a nurse that is to sit with her in the ER. she is nice enough but still is a stranger but at least someone is there with her. she has lived in that house for over 60 years and now after this may never get to go home again. it makes me very very sad. i know why my mom didn't want me to go see her looking that bad but i would never have forgiven myself if she dies and didn't go see her.
