Somebody seems to have gotten into the holiday spirit, and decided that painting the hallways green was either overdone or should be saved for the Day of Green or some other green holiday. This is the only explanation for why there are prisms affixed onto the walls of every hallway ever, in both the tower and the I-1,

It could've been fake, but not chocolate. Or just something dropped from Guy's armor. It's pretty shiny, after all.
