001 ❂ [Accidental video]
[The image flickers on, but it takes a moment for the face of a young girl to come into view because she’s holding the device at arm’s length and turning it this way and that. When she notices the red blinking light she pauses and holds the screen a bit closer to her face.]
What is this thing?
[She stares expectantly at the screen like she's never seen a cell phone in her life, waiting for something interesting to happen. She’s clearly not very tech savvy, so her decision to press more buttons only results in lots of beeps and inadvertently switching it to an audio feed instead of a video feed. There’s a rustling noise, like pieces of fabric sliding against each other, and the sounds and words that follow are slightly muffled. She must have dropped the device into a pocket.]
I guess I’ll just look around until I find someone. Umi-chan and Fuu-chan should be nearby, I was just with them! This isn’t Cephiro, though... And it doesn’t look like Tokyo. How could we have gotten separated?
[There’s a long stretch of mostly-silence, punctuated by occasional “Hellooooo?”s and the names of her friends. After a while, there’s the sound of rustling fabric again and the feed is disconnected.]
