(no subject)
The Daks trip was sweet! 6 of us summited Mt. Marcy on tuesday. It took us 5 hours to go 2.3 miles. We were breaking trail through deep as hell snow, sometimes up to chest level. Everyone had a good experience (I hesitate to call it "fun") and got back ok.
I got a new cat! Well actually this cat belonged to Capricamay's friend 5 years ago when it was a kitten. She had to move to a no pet apartment so gave it to Capricamay, where it lived in her Dad's house for a little while. Then, it kept drooling and peeing everywhere so they made it an outside cat till yesterday. Yesterday I drove it to Pittsburgh to live in my apartment. It is such an awesome cat! Ok so it has problems, it DROOLS constantly, it has dandruff and doesn't lick itself clean much. But Midnight is such an attention whore. She loves curling up in anybodys lap and loves being petted. Sage, my other cat, is more of a playful cat. She loves chasing things around the apartment and will only sit on your lap if she wants to. Frequently she will bite you if you try to pet her when she doesn't want to be petted.
