Time keeps on slipping into the future..
Alright.. so.. quite a lot has gone down since I last updated.. figured I'd post one big ass entry and just let everyone know whats been going down in my world.
First thing.. I went to Washington at the end of September for about a week and a half. Got to see James and Tammy. Went down to bug Tanis and Sarah. I had a blast. I took some kick ass pictures I might eventually link. While in Washington.. staying at the lovely Motel 6 in Tacoma.. there was a bit of an incident. Some guy on the second floor had met a chick at the mall and decided to bring her to motel 6.. to uh.. well.. you know. She started text messaging someone once she got in his room.. and then excused herself to go outside and get some air. When he opened the door to let her back in he instead found a gun pointed at him and he was then robbed by gun point. The guy took everything.. including a 3k dollar watch. So here's where I can't help but wonder if you have a $3,000 dollar watch.. not to mention $300 dollar shoes.. What the fuck are you doing taking a chick to Motel 6? Splurge a little.. atleast go to a hotel.
So anyway.. after he is robbed he goes outside to get the security guards attention.. to do this.. he leans over the balcony and is yelling at the security guard. Well.. he lost his balance.. and fell from the second floor... onto the hood of my car.
That was a pretty interesting night to say the least. The hood is somewhat normal looking again thanks to a 2x4 and some bending.
The rest of the trip was nice.. on the way home we (Dad and myself) came back down the 101 along the coast. I had a blast driving thru Oregon on the 101. Talk about some crazy corners. When the sign says 15 mph.. they're not fucking around.
Made it home.. was instantly bored again. I love traveling.. need to do some more of it.
Finally got the see Shaun of the Dead.. Debbie and I went.. the movie fuckin' rocks. I suggest you go see it. After that I went to Newport to see some friends play (check out www.34below.com ) and met some cool people at Muldoon's. The following Monday (I lost track of the dates) I ended up at John's.. we ended up playing a marathon game of Munchkin. The game rocks.. if you don't know what it is.. your loss. We had 4 players and it lasted a long time. The next day, Tuesday, I talked Debbie in to going with me to see 34 Below, this time they were playing some place in Beverly Hills. These guys are just amazing live.. nice guys.. and I consider them good friends... esp. after the night they escorted me back to San Jose after my car tried to strand me halfway between Santa Cruz and San Jose.
Saturday, the 30th.. Andy and I went cruising.. I had to show off the new stereo in the car. It gets loud.. and APC sounded pretty bad ass.. the whole car shaking.. people looking at us all funny. Had to put on some Eazy-E to test out the setup properly.
Sunday, the 31st (Halloween).. didn't do a damn thing that involved it being Halloween. I instead sat here burning DVD's for friends while watching movies. I finally watched The Butterfly Effect.. and I gotta say.. I really liked it. It was along the lines of Donnie Darko.. where when the movie ends... you just kinda go.. "whoa.. what the fuck.." it was very cool. After that.. Super Troopers baby.. haha if you haven't seen Super Troopers.. well.. then I dunno what to say.. but the movie is funny.. very very funny. Super Troopers ended just in time to catch the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Marathon on Cartoon Network. The Broodwich episode is probably one of my top 10 ATHF episodes. Also in the top 10 would be when Shake gets Meatwad a "bunny rabbit".
Well.. its November now.. just over a month til my birthday (Dec 18th for those of you getting me presents). The plan is to hit up Vegas for my birthday.. which should be a blast.. but damn I am feeling old.
Things are good though.. other then being bored, which is usual.. I can't really complain. Although a lot of things are changing around me.. friends are getting ready to move out of state/country.. I'm kinda trying to find my direction as well and see where I might end up.
So.. I've updated my journal with most of whats been going on with me. Not sure if anyone reads it anymore.. cuz most people gave up on telling me to update it.. probably figured I never would.
