Prince of Persia & "Muse"-ings on a New Video

May 31, 2010 19:40

I saw Prince of Persia on Saturday morning, my first experience with the new theatre technology called ETX. I guess the sound is pretty impressive if it shakes the seats during the previews of The A-Team, Tron Legacy and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The movie was good for a popcorn flick but not up to caliber of PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl. (Sorry, Jerry, you set the standard a bit high for yourself.) I can see where the studio would have potential for a sequel. Jake Gyllenhaal was deliciously handsome and dashing; Ben Kingsley was deliciously evil and villianous. Oh and Alfred Molina was hilarious. I would recommend it.

I bumped into one of the co-workers from my old job and she gave me some insight to one of my current managers. It explained so much for me.

I heard the new Muse song "Neutron Star Collision" on Absolute Radio yesterday. This one gets two thumbs up. Matthew Belemey is such an amazing songwriter. One of my current co-workers mentioned seeing the new video so I hopped on YouTube. I brought back a lot of memories from seeing them open for U2 last year. Dominic Howard is one hell of a drummer. You can see what I mean:
