I haven't called Jilly in far to long. I hope she doesn't mind that I'm a jerkface like that.
I have to try and remember to purchase stamps tomorrow. When I go forth and deposit this tax return that finally got here. I can finish fixin my tooth finally. sadly, my bluetooth will soon be gone, replaced by a silver one. I think.
Very few things hurt me more then insulting/mocking my singing voice. It's rare when I do sing in front of people, and it's usually quite softly. I know I'm a bad singer, I don't need to be reminded. There are few things I want more then the ability to sing, I envy almost nothing, being able to sing well, that's one of the few things. If I could sing... *sighs*
Presidents of the United States of America, is a fucking FANtastic band. although I know for a fact that a lot of their songs are OBVIOUSLY inspired by the songs of many other musicians and groups. But since they're a band whose songs are almost entirely based in good humour they couldn't get legally fucked with because they could claim it as a parody. Either way i recognize several of their songs that are inspired by other songs on my playlist. One was inspired by the Spiderman theme song. These fellas and a band called The Matches are currently in my top 5 favourites, right up there with The Wallflowers, Green Day, The Pink Spiders. That list is in no particular order and is subject to change without notification.
I wrote a song inspired by a Kooks song. The Kooks - Seaside. Fantastic song, pretty damn good band.
I've been singing a lot more wehn I'm alone, I've been working on my voice, it's still not worth listening to, but it's better. I can't sing fast or loud, unless it's metal. I can sing metal like a pro, I had a brief lesson.
now, why is telling me there is two spellings for breif. Breif & Brief. Niether are spelled wrong so says LJ who thinks I spelt favourites right, but not humour. wow, wtf. LJ spellchecker is on crack, now it tells me it's spelt right! It's like they're editing the spellchecker as I type... it never told me my English spellings of words was right before! not even 5 minutes ago when I typed humour higher up in this entry. MADNESS.
