I hate specialized learning. I HATE specialized learning. I know I shouldn't, it's what got me into college but i'll stop whining in a minute, i've just got to get this off my chest. The NYU film students are a bunch of sodding idiots. Their scope of interest ranges from exactly 1965 to 2006. What happened to exposure. I'm the only one out of the whole sodding bunch who knows anything about anything before Hitchcock. To them film begins with Hitchcock, and it reaches it's glorious climax with 'National Treasure'. It's clear to me that people interested in film are not going to film school. But where are they besides myspace is the question. California, maybe. Ah, me. What happened to Fred Allen, poor guy. I guess they must've run him off the face of the earth the minute radio went bust. Too bad, at that.
