So this weekend was, um, something. Day 1 had me going out to Denver to meet a girl (or such was the plan). It's not that I didn't enjoy myself as a whole, at least a bit, but it was disappointing that I didn't meet anyone. This was largely do to the fact that the people we were there to meet were promised to be A) gorgeous and B) single. Most of them were the former of the two. The one who wasn't called for, quickly rectified that. One other girl was supposed to show up (who, for that matter was the only one who lived remotely near me) didn't. Funny story about that, too.

Also, it was a rollercoaster ride of [others] emotions that night, and I was really just the guy in back screaming "Why did I think I wanted to go on this ride?" There was, however, the point where I got to dance (I'm not saying well, just that I did) with the hot tattoo artist, so that was a plus. But, yeah, she had a boyfriend too.

Day 2, uneventful, yet peaceful.

Day 3, same, until the evening. I get a call saying that now we're going to set me up with the one who lives near me. (granted, this comes in just shy of an hour before I was planning to hit the sack what with having to work and all). So, of course, I agree. I meet my friend at his place, his girlfriend shows up, shortly there after we head off to the bar to meet. My (supposed) date.......brings one of her own. Need I elaborate?
