There are two charity events I'd like to announce:
Shopping Spree for Underprivileged Children
Volunteer as a guide to help underprivileged children pick out necessities @ Mervin's.
When: Saturday December 3rd, 5:30 am
Where: Mervin's

Who: San Jose Junior Chamber (Jaycees)
What: Volunteers Needed from 5:30 to 12:00.

Blood Donation Drive
Give the gift of life this holiday season!
When: Saturday, December 17th, 11:00am
Where: Pleasanton Blood Center
5556-B Springdale Avenue
Pleasanton, CA 94588

Who: American Red Cross
What: In order to donate, you must be 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in general good health. American Red Cross volunteer blood donors will be required to provide identification before donating blood. The preferred list of identifiers include a goverment-issued ID or a Red Cross donor card. You can schedule an appointment online at this location through www.givelife.org. The zip code to use is 94583. The Blood Donation Eligibility Guidelines can be found at http://www.redcross.org/services/biomed/0,1082,0_557_,00.html .
I am attending both of these events -- please don't let me do it alone! My appointment with the Red Cross is set for 11:30am. This will be my last opportunity to see you before I run off for the holidays, so join me in some holiday giving (and some lunch afterwards)!
The next Decatur meet is scheduled for Saturday, January 7th, 2006 @ 2PM.
