Well, Mel's been and gone. She left Friday morning so let me tell you how the trip went.
Monday she arrived at Heathrow airport and I was there waiting to collect her, fake-ass lipring and all (It's one of those clip-on ones lol) She noticed it was fake right away, but then again she would because she has her own done along with her eyebrow. We boarded the Heathrow express with all her bags and stuff and proceeded to Paddington station. We got the subway to my house and as soon as we got there, Freddie (My dog) went psycho lol. I introduced her to my mom and we took all her things downstairs, decided to order chinese and pretty much chilled the rest of the night, til it was time to shower and sleep...
Tuesday we both slept in pretty much, again ordered food and watched movies. We took a trip down to the store too (Woo! Exciting!) Wednesday we went down to Covent garden and Leicster square and took a look around there. We were going to try and see a movie but holy shit are things expensive there or what? lol. I didn't realize how much more expensive shit seems when you're going around as a 'tourist' =P
Friday was another chill day. We took a short trip but mainly stayed inside again until the evening that is. We went to 'The White Swan' It's a Whetherspoon pub/restaurant which is a Nationally owned company that has stuff all around Europe and whatnot... We went for a meal with the 'rents, which I was supposed to be paying for but my dad ended up doing so >.<;; I had Nachos and dip along with a glass of Mai-Tai ^_^;; Mel had Spaghetti Bolognase and a glass of something called 'Scarlet O'hara' My mom ate a big fry-up thing called a Mixed Grill and my dad just had Scampi and fries. We then pretty much went home and chilled yet again :D
Saturday was Kirsty (My niece)s birthday so there was a little party going on at a bowling alley not far from my house (Well about half-hour or so) We played two games on teams... It was Mel and I, My mom and Auntie Leslie and Joe (Cousin) and his wife, Angie. The first game I enjoyed more than the second probably because I got a strike in my first three goes ^_^ But by the end of it, Mel and myself ended up being second place and in the second game we came last, Blargle! >.< lol. It was fun though..
~*~*~
Saturday evening I decided to take Mel to the pub around the corner from my house because Ricky (Best friend) Had told me the previous owners had left so I was no longer barred -long story- We got there but they weren't in there so we decided to go to "The Green Man"; which is a pub just up the street. All my buds were in there and pretty much all drunk as fuck lol. There was Ricky, Daniel, Danny, Colin, Michael, Mickey and a couple of the 'elders' too. Daniel was all over Mel LOL it was funny :D But she got on well with them all. After a couple of hours in the green man we headed back to the pub 'round the corner from me and just chilled in there, til about 12 or so... Then we went back to Rickys for a couple of hours before heading back to mine and going to bed.
Sunday we went back to the pub with Ricky and Daniel and she got to see them both in their not-so-shabby shape lol. Daniel was a little less 'on the pull' as the night before and actually seemed fairly embarrassed which was quite funny. We played some pool and fucked with the jukebox now and again, hitting up tunes which was free because the new management are cool ^_^ Then we went back to my place and installed a game I had bought earlier in the day at Virgin Megastore (It's Tom Clancy's: Ghost Recon) Played that a little more then just chilled... Which was pretty much the same as Monday.
Tuesday we had to get up REALLY early because we went to Chessington: World of Adventures. It's a theme park about half-hours train ride from my place... Pretty neat although Mel thought the rides were a little 'weak' compared to what she's used to. Granted we didn't go on the
Samurai Or
Rameses But that was mainly because *I* fucking freaked out >.< I cannot believe I did too... I was psyching myself up to go on them both so much I guess. We did go on the
Vampire though... Which is the one she said was weak. I'd hate to see the rides she's been on LOL! - Before we left I got an application form though so that's cool. Hopefully I'll be working there soon.
Wednesday we went and saw The Lion King play at the Lyceum theatre. When I went and saw Blood Brothers w/ my mom I thought it was probably the best show I'd seen in years, but man Lion King tops it to the full! The way the stage was laid out was awesome they had revolving thingies and and bits and pieces of the stage that rose and fell at times. And the 'animals' were created brilliantly, esp' Timone and Pumba! If anyone ever gets the chance to see it, GO!
Thursday was yet another chill day. We slept in because we were staying up all night. We went out again to The Green man for a couple of hours at night to have a few drinks and so Mel could say bye to a couple of people she met while out here. - We stayed up watching TV and talking, listening to music and packing Mel's bags... The cab came around 5:30am and drove us to the airport, City this time not Heathrow. I left her around 7:45 or so and made my way home...
