Howard Roark, the book's central character believes that man should worhip the greatness of mankind and man should work for his own satisfaction. he doesnt believe that man should do a collective work for the society and anyone who thrives on the work of others are parasites and second handers. he is the hero of ayn rand's masterpiece. his belief is what ayn rand's follower called as OBJECTIVISM.
