a. it always pissed me off when patients or their accompanyings insisted on being seen first although a lot of people are ahead of the line. you see, a long line is a trademark of any government hospital where ever you may go. sometimes, they just cant understand the beauty of order and the resulting efficiency. i cannot work in a chaotic clinic ( Read more... )

tnx u mai girl sa imong mga gipadayag nga hunahuna. all your observations are true and correct. their are some nurses or even doctors who talked openly about their plans of going abroad. i cannot fault them for that because these are just symptoms and bad signs of a deteriorating economy. who would'nt want to have a good life? my appeal is only for the other stakeholders in the healthcare system to understand that we doctors are human and are not perfect. we have our moods and emotional issues, we are not exempt from the daily grinds of life. we are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters too. we have our needs to think of. we cannot be openly accomodating for every sick dick, tom and harry. in private hospital/cases, the residents have to reaaaaly wait for their consultants reply as to the medications and other medical plans of the patient. because the patients are the responsibility of the consultants, if the residents will do a DIY, their asses will be fried by their consultants. they are still in training. so private patients having check up at the hospital esp during off ofc hours, you really have to wait. for the govt hospitals, the residents have the prerogative to treat immediately the patients or to consult their consultants (this seldom happens unless youre very ill and needs to be admitted), i know some peeps dont want to be seen at a govt hospital for variable reasons. agen, no one can fault them for that. mai girl, i appreciate so much your thoughts, i will add you as my contacts if its ok. btw, in what profession are you?
