Damian thought about the offer. Lus had said "us," which he assumed mean that Sabbat would be along, too, and he really had no desire to be anywhere near that mook. Then again, it was so boring here. Horrendously boring. Ungodly boring. Running for his life almost seemed appealing in the face of such an utter lack of stimulation.
He nodded. "Cancer ward. Yeah, all right. If you wanna let bygones be bygones, that's cool with me." So saying, he unlocked and opened the door.
"Awesome," Lus grinned, and hid his scalpel quickly. Not yet, not yet... Once they'd found the pot, then, yeah. Yeah. They needed an extra set of eyes (Lus had to hold back a giggle) to help them find the stuff.
Sabbat looked over at Lus, then back at the now-open door, hand twitching slightly. Gods, this bastard was leaving himself wide open - it'd be a shame not to take advantage of it. But then, if the eye-thief wasn't going to act yet, he wouldn't be repaying his debt. And that sure as hell wasn't something he wanted hanging over him for longer than he needed.
Besides, two pairs of eyes're better'n one when it comes t'finding things. An' three are better'n two. An' when he's nicely relaxed, he ain't gonna struggle half as much...Logical, that. Unsatisfying, but logical.
And since when were you logical?
Besides, longer you put it off, better 'tis when you do it.
By that logic, your next pipe'll be exceptionally good.
Heh. I wish.
He shut the razor with a growl, and stuck it back through his belt, attempting to force his face into a more friendly cast of feature. Unfortunately the effect was more disturbing than reassuring.
"I'll hold him still fer you if y'want," he muttered.

He fingered his scalpel idly, considering. No one else knew Damian was here...

But after that... after that all bets were off.
