Why is hockey so amazing?
OKay, I can't sleep, I need to wind down. Had my second hockey game of 2007 tonight. These past two games have been AWSOME. First of all, on Thursday nights game, I got 2 goals, and 1 assist which is the best I've ever done :) I was soooo close to getting that hatrick, but it just wasn't going to happen. I also was named "Player of the Game" that night which is a big bonus. Then tonight, we were playing the top team in our division so I was a little nervous. But we actually beat them!! AND I got 2 more goals AND 2 assists tonight!! AND I got named Player of the Game again! I literally doubled my season points within 2 games. I am so sore and I know I won't be able to walk tomorrow, but I don't care lol. Best two games ever!!
Anyways... away from hockey for a bit, my sister had her 20th birthday party last weekend. Every year since she turned 18 we've gone to the Casino to play blackjack. After an hour or so we left the table. I was up $8 lol. Then we played a couple slot machines, I won $20 and then cashed out. There was no way I was losing that $20 hahaha. So I just watched everyone else gamble for the afternoon. My sis's friend left with an extra $450 which is pretty darn good. Then on her actual birthday (tuesday) they stole me from work in the afternoon and we went to Bingo. What a bunch of gamblers eh??? I left up about $40 which was pretty sweet too lol.
Anyways... away from gambling too lol.
Emerald got a new t-shirt. I had to get it because it matches her eyes, plus I just love bright green. She's so funny when she wears it though because it kind of throws her balance off. But she loves to model it :P
Today Brad & I met with Audra, Karm, Casey and Tyler at Derks so that the guys could try on their tux's for Audra and Karms wedding. Yes Casey, you looked very studly lol. That was fun, then we went and had some dinner at BP's (thats two nights in a row). And my team was heading to BP's after the game tonight, but there was no way I was going 3 times in 2 days lol. Thats okay though, Brad has an angles training course tomorrow morning with Cory & Jay so he couldn't stay out very late.
Sabrina and I joined a yoga class together that's held at Summerside's beach house. It's amazing. I love stretching, and it's so relaxing too. So thats every Monday now which I'm totally looking forward too :) The funniest thing though, turns out our instructor is my grade one teacher! She was one of my favorite teachers too, so thats pretty cool!
Other then all of that, I have three out of town hockey tournaments coming up which I'm looking forward too. The first one is in two weeks. Next weekend Brad's renting some ice so that Mofo's can run a practice. I think I'll come out and skate too, and maybe bring a couple girls from my team too.
Tomorrow Im going to do some shopping, that is if I can walk! I have a bunch of gift certificates from Xmas that I want to use. Thats always fun :)
